Moritz Hausmann

Moritz Hausmann practices in all areas of criminal law, with a focus on economic and tax criminal law. In addition to defending individuals, his practice areas include advising companies and executives, compliance, and internal investigations.
Before founding Hausmann Legal in 2026, he worked for over 6 years as a partner in a Munich criminal law firm. Previously, he worked for a private equity company based in Munich and for an internationally operating law firm in Cape Town (South Africa).
He is a member of the German Association for Economic Criminal Law (Wirtschaftsstrafrechtliche Vereinigung e. V.), the German Bar Association – Criminal Law Working Group, the Bavarian Criminal Defense Initiative and the Munich Bar Association.
In addition to his work as a lawyer, he teaches medical and care criminal law to medical personnel for continuing education purposes.
